Moxie Docs
AI docs that write and fix themselves, before your codebase drifts

- supporters
What does Moxie Docs help with?
Moxie Docs is an AI documentation engine that keeps your knowledge base in sync with your actual codebase, automatically.
Point it at a repo and Moxie reads the code to generate structured documentation: architecture overviews, API references, setup guides, and conventions. As the codebase changes, Moxie's drift detection catches the moment a doc becomes false, not just outdated, and opens a pull request with the fix. You review and merge; Moxie never merges on its own.
Under the hood, a built-in MCP server exposes that same live context to AI coding agents (Claude, Cursor, and others), so agents writing code in your repo can pull real conventions, API surfaces, and documentation gaps before they write a line, instead of hallucinating patterns that don't exist. A review_change tool lets agents self-check their own changes against your docs and conventions pre-PR.
Teams also get a public-facing knowledge base (searchable, themeable, SEO-friendly) generated from the same underlying model of the product, plus an automatic changelog built from merged PRs and version tags.
The pitch: stop treating documentation as a chore that rots the moment it's written. Moxie treats it as a living artifact that gets regenerated and corrected alongside your code, for both the humans reading it and the agents writing it.
